Centrum Air has announced the start of its partnership with the Basketball Federation of Uzbekistan as an official sponsor. Supporting sports is part of the company’s long-term sustainability and social responsibility strategy (ESG approach), aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and contributing to the development of young people across the country.

Centrum Air consistently invests in sports initiatives and the promotion of active living. This is not the company’s first collaboration with sports organizations: previously, the airline sponsored FC Andijan, supporting the development of regional football and local communities. The company also provided transportation for Uzbek para-athletes participating in the 5th Asian Youth Para Games in Dubai in 2025, where the national team achieved first place in the overall medal standings among 35 countries. Today, we are taking this work to the national level and are pleased to contribute to the development of basketball and the promotion of an active lifestyle among youth.

The new partnership elevates these efforts nationwide. Within the framework of the cooperation, the parties plan to implement joint image-building and social projects, as well as special initiatives aimed at promoting sports among fans and passengers.
Recently, Centrum Air also took part in organizing a dedicated photo shoot featuring members of the national basketball team, photographed by renowned Georgian photographer Gio Kardava.
For Centrum Air, supporting sports means investing in the country’s future, nurturing talent, and contributing to a stronger and more united society.
