Centrum Holding (the “Group”), an international integrated logistics and transportation group, today hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Ambassador Jonathan Henick. Centrum Holding’s delegation was led by Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Khafizjon Gafurov, Co-Founder. The parties discussed prospects for expanding collaboration between US companies and the Group’s businesses in civil aviation, logistics, aviation personnel training, tourism and investments. Centrum Holding presented the structure of the business comprising Centrum Air, a passenger airline, and My Freighter, a cargo carrier, as well as logistics, tourism and manufacturing operations. The Group’s total fleet currently counts 25 aircraft, with plans for further expansion. The parties specifically discussed the development of cooperation with US suppliers of aviation equipment, as well as partnerships with Boeing and other manufacturers. The Group confirmed its intention to continue to increase purchases of US aviation equipment and expand its fleet. In 2026, five Boeing aircraft will join My Freighter’s fleet.In the passenger aviation sector, the parties discussed Centrum Air’s plans to enter the US market, focusing on providing connectivity to the Uzbek diaspora and supporting the growing tourism and business travel between the countries. The company is considering the launch of new routes from Samarkand to New York and from Tashkent to Miami, with a technical stop in Europe, potentially in Lithuania. In the air cargo sector, My Freighter currently operates flights to the US as part of interline agreements with international airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and other partners. Fruit and vegetables from Uzbekistan account for a significant share of exports, with growing demand in the US market. The parties discussed plans to establish an aviation university in Uzbekistan in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Florida, USA). The project is aimed at enhancing training for pilots and engineering and technical specialists in accordance with international standards, as well as developing a professional talent pool for the regional aviation industry.The Group also presented its plans to attract investments and highlighted its preparation for public capital markets.The parties concluded the meeting by reaffirming mutual interest in developing a long-term partnership between Uzbek and US businesses. Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private air carrier and part of Centrum Holding, an international integrated aviation and logistics group, announces the launch of regular flights to Frankfurt, the company’s first European destination, as part of the Spring–Summer 2026 schedule. The launch of flights to Europe marks a key milestone in the company’s history and an important step in the expansion of its international route network.Centrum Air will operate flights twice a week, every Monday and Friday, starting March 30, 2026, with a flight duration of approximately 7 hours 15 minutes from Tashkent to Frankfurt and 5 hours 30 minutes from Frankfurt to Tashkent.The route will be served by modern Airbus A321neo aircraft, featuring reduced noise levels, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced cabin comfort. The minimum round-trip fare starts from USD516, including checked baggage (23kg).In addition to expanding Centrum Air’s international network, the launch of the Frankfurt route will help strengthen tourism and business ties between Europe and Uzbekistan.Uzbekistan is a country with a rich historical and cultural heritage, located at the heart of the Great Silk Road.
