Centrum Air continues to enhance convenient services for international passengers and announces the expansion of available currencies for purchasing air tickets and additional services.
Passengers can now pay for tickets and airline services in Chinese yuan (CNY / ¥) via WeChat, one of the most popular digital platforms in China.
This initiative is especially relevant amid the growing tourist flow from China to Uzbekistan. According to publicly available sources, the number of Chinese tourists visiting the country has increased 3.5 times since the beginning of the year, confirming the rising interest in Uzbekistan as both a tourism and business destination.
The introduction of payments in yuan will make the booking process more convenient and familiar for guests from China, while also improving accessibility of the airline’s services for international passengers.
Centrum Air passengers can now pay for their flights using Apple Pay and Google Pay — both services are already available on the airline's official website.The new payment method eliminates the need to manually enter card details: transactions are confirmed in a single tap using the device's built-in security features, making the booking process faster and more convenient, especially on mobile.The launch of Apple Pay and Google Pay continues Centrum Air's commitment to expanding digital services for its passengers. Centrum Air is opening a new route: starting June 17, regular flights from Tashkent to Krasnodar will operate every Wednesday aboard Airbus A320 aircraft.Krasnodar is the largest economic and cultural centre of Russia's Southern Federal District, three times named the best city in the country for doing business by Forbes magazine. The city appeals to both business travellers and tourists: it is home to Galitsky Park — one of the most beautiful parks in Russia — while the Black Sea and Sea of Azov coastlines are just over a hundred kilometres away.Tickets for the new route are available from 1,600,000 UZS one way.
