Centrum Air warmly welcomed hero Khayrulla Ibodullayev in Tashkent

28 February, 2026

Today, February 28, 2026, a ceremonial reception was held at Tashkent International Airport to welcome our compatriot Khayrulla Ibodullayev, who returned to Uzbekistan after performing a heroic act in Saint Petersburg.

Risking his own life, Khayrulla saved a seven-year-old child, demonstrating exceptional courage and selflessness. At the airport, he was greeted by representatives of the airline, journalists, relatives, and members of the public who came to express their gratitude and respect for his brave actions.

For his bravery, he was awarded the state medal “Jasorat” by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As a token of deep appreciation for his heroism and civic responsibility, Centrum Air presented Khayrulla with a personal certificate for complimentary flights across the airline’s entire route network, valid for the next five years. In addition, the tour operator Centrum Holidays gifted his family an Umrah pilgrimage package for his parents.

The award ceremony took place in an atmosphere of sincere respect and support, with media representatives having the opportunity to personally meet and speak with the hero.

Centrum Air is proud of its compatriot, remains committed to human values, and sincerely wishes Khayrulla, his family, and all passengers good health, well-being, and safe travels.
