Centrum Holding Meets US Embassy in Uzbekistan to Discuss Deepening Partnerships with US Businesses

Centrum Holding (the “Group”), an international integrated logistics and transportation group, today hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Ambassador Jonathan Henick. Centrum Holding’s delegation was led by Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Khafizjon Gafurov, Co-Founder.   

The parties discussed prospects for expanding collaboration between US companies and the Group’s businesses in civil aviation, logistics, aviation personnel training, tourism and investments.   


Centrum Holding presented the structure of the business comprising Centrum Air, a passenger airline, and My Freighter, a cargo carrier, as well as logistics, tourism and manufacturing operations. The Group’s total fleet currently counts 25 aircraft, with plans for further expansion. 

The parties specifically discussed the development of cooperation with US suppliers of aviation equipment, as well as partnerships with Boeing and other manufacturers. The Group confirmed its intention to continue to increase purchases of US aviation equipment and expand its fleet. In 2026, five Boeing aircraft will join My Freighter’s fleet.

In the passenger aviation sector, the parties discussed Centrum Air’s plans to enter the US market, focusing on providing connectivity to the Uzbek diaspora and supporting the growing tourism and business travel between the countries. The company is considering the launch of new routes from Samarkand to New York and from Tashkent to Miami, with a technical stop in Europe, potentially in Lithuania.   

In the air cargo sector, My Freighter currently operates flights to the US as part of interline agreements with international airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and other partners. Fruit and vegetables from Uzbekistan account for a significant share of exports, with growing demand in the US market. 

The parties discussed plans to establish an aviation university in Uzbekistan in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Florida, USA). The project is aimed at enhancing training for pilots and engineering and technical specialists in accordance with international standards, as well as developing a professional talent pool for the regional aviation industry.


The Group also presented its plans to attract investments and highlighted its preparation for public capital markets.

The parties concluded the meeting by reaffirming mutual interest in developing a long-term partnership between Uzbek and US businesses.

Centrum Air to Launch Flights from Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to Frankfurt

Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private air carrier and part of Centrum Holding, an international integrated aviation and logistics group, announces the launch of regular flights to Frankfurt, the company’s first European destination, as part of the Spring–Summer 2026 schedule. The launch of flights to Europe marks a key milestone in the company’s history and an important step in the expansion of its international route network.Centrum Air will operate flights  twice a week, every Monday and Friday, starting March 30, 2026, with a flight duration of approximately 7 hours 15 minutes from Tashkent to Frankfurt and 5 hours 30 minutes from Frankfurt to Tashkent.The route will be served by modern Airbus A321neo aircraft, featuring reduced noise levels, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced cabin comfort. The minimum round-trip fare starts from USD516, including checked baggage (23kg).In addition to expanding Centrum Air’s international network, the launch of the Frankfurt route will help  strengthen tourism and business ties between Europe and Uzbekistan.Uzbekistan is a country with a rich historical and cultural heritage, located at the heart of the Great Silk Road. On January 21, 2026, Centrum Holding (the “Group”), an international integrated aviation and logistics and transportation group, held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of France in the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by H.E. Mr. Walid Fouque, Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan. The meeting took place in Centrum Holding’ office and the Group was  represented by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in civil aviation, logistics, aviation personnel training, as well as tourism and investment collaboration between France and Uzbekistan.The French delegation highlighted the importance of Uzbekistan’s civil aviation development program until 2030, signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which provides for the significant expansion of the country’s airline fleets. This includes plans to increase the total national fleet to 180 aircraft.Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov stated that Centrum Air, the Group’s passenger airline, will continue its development in line with its approved strategy, focusing on the operation of modern and efficient aircraft. For passenger transportation, the airline plans to utilize Airbus aircraft, including the A320, A321, and A330 families. As part of Uzbekistan’s fleet expansion goals, the Group intends to account for up to 50% or more of the country’s total fleet through the expansion of Centrum Air and My Freighter, the Group’s cargo carrier .The parties paid special  attention to the development of Centrum Air’s route network. The airline plans to launch its first scheduled flights to Europe in March 2026 with services to Frankfurt, while regular flights to Paris are expected to commence in April 2027 as part of the summer schedule.The parties noted that leveraging Tashkent’s transit potential offers clear advantages for passengers. Thanks to its favorable geographic location, connections via Tashkent allow travelers from Europe heading to Southeast Asia to reduce total travel time by an average of up to two hours compared with other major international hubs.Centrum Holding noted that in the cargo segment, My Freighter already operates a significant number of charter flights to European destinations, including France, Germany, Italy, and the Balkan region, highlighting the strong potential for logistics cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.The discussion also focused on aviation personnel training and retraining. The French delegation  expressed readiness to develop cooperation in pilot, engineering, and ground staff training. Potential initiatives include exchange programs, training at educational centers in France, including Toulouse, as well as partnerships with specialized institutions.The parties also discussed inbound and outbound tourism projects through Centrum Holidays.
