London, UK, 4 March 2026 – Centrum Air has successfully completed a comprehensive train-the-trainer programme with the support of Acron Aviation. This initiative has equipped our internal training team with the expertise and skills needed to independently deliver Crew Resource Management (CRM) training to our pilots.
The initiative represents a significant step forward in enabling culture change within Centrum Air, providing its instructors with the skills, tools, and knowledge to deliver CRM training, including Human Factors through a sustainable, in-house model.
Acron Aviation’s dedicated training team, experts in CRM, designed and developed the tailored courseware, delivered a series of train-the-trainer workshops, and supported the initial roll-out alongside Centrum Air’s newly qualified instructors. This collaborative approach ensures both immediate operational readiness and long-term training resilience.
David Coward, President, Acron Aviation, said: “Empowering airlines to build their own training capability is central to our philosophy of creating lasting value for our customers. By equipping Centrum Air’s team to independently deliver CRM training, we are not only enhancing operational safety and efficiency today but also supporting their long-term growth ambitions.” Coward continued, “This programme reflects our commitment to building ongoing partnerships, working side-by-side with our customers to develop sustainable solutions that strengthen their organisation for years to come.”
The benefits to Centrum Air extend beyond operational efficiency. By embedding CRM principles deeply into its safety culture, the airline is strengthening pilot performance, supporting its growth trajectory, and advancing its application for European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulatory approval - an accreditation that requires robust CRM practices.
Eldar Khamdeev, Deputy CEO for Flight Operations, , LLC My Freighter / Centrum Air said: “This foundational approach positions Centrum Air as innovators, being the only airline in region with the capability to independently conduct CRM training. The benefits of upskilling our trainers, enhancing pilot capabilities and reducing reliance on external providers will only strengthen the airlines safety culture.”
This milestone further reinforces the growing partnership between the two organisations. Centrum Air pilots already complete their Type Rating training at Acron Aviation’s London Training Centre, and with Acron Aviation maintaining oversight of CRM standards, the collaboration continues to build long-term value for both companies.
